Jiani received her BA in Biblical Studies and Philosophy from Wheaton College (IL) in 2018 and then completed an MAR at Yale Divinity School.
Jiani Sun hails from Shanghai, China. She has spent six years in the US before she comes to Oxford. Her DPhil project is on Wisdom of Solomon and under the supervision of Prof. Hindy Najman. Particularly, she focuses on the philosophical and hermeneutical dimensions of the exodus retelling in Wisdom. Her research interests include wisdom literature, biblical narratives, hermeneutics and philosophy.
