Annie Calderbank is a fourth-year DPhil student at Oriel College under the supervision of Professor Hindy Najman. Annie received her undergraduate degree in Theology from Peterhouse, Cambridge, and completed her MPhil degree at Oriel in 2020.
Annie’s DPhil builds upon her work as an MPhil student, also at Oriel, which explored depictions of divine presence in the Hebrew Bible, Dead Sea Scrolls, and Jewish Greek texts. Her research focuses on concepts of holiness across the Hebrew Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
