Hak Seo Kim is a sixth-year DPhil student at Christ Church College under the guidance of Professor Hindy Najman. Before joining Oxford, Hakseo completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Theology at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and had the privilege of studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a recipient of an Israeli government scholarship.
Hakseo’s primary research focus revolves around the formation of collective memory and identity among the ancient Judean people. His research encompasses a wide range of subjects, including the Pentateuch, historical books, prophetic books, and deuterocanonical books.
