I attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, completing both an MDiv (2016) and a ThM (2018). The title of my ThM thesis was, Studies in Septuagint Leviticus: Linguistics, Tradition, and Lexical Choice.
I am now pursuing a DPhil in Hebrew and Jewish studies at the University of Oxford.
My DPhil thesis focuses on the choice of rare literary vocabulary by the translator of Old Greek Job. This thesis will shed further light on the translator, his world, and his text.
Other research interests include biblical exegesis, Hebrew poetry, textual criticism of the Hebrew Bible, Hexaplaric material, the Old Syriac translation of the New Testament, Old Church Slavonic, and Classical Greek.
