Mr Joseph Justiss

BA, MDiv, MA

Joseph Justiss is a fifth-year DPhil student in Hebrew Bible at Blackfriars Hall under the supervision of Professor Alison Salveson. Joseph received his BA in Biblical Studies at Dallas Baptist University and completed his MA in Ancient Philology from the Polis Jerusalem Institute for Language and the Humanities.

Joseph researches the Book of Proverbs with special attention on the large-scale order differences between the LXX and Masoretic text-forms. He investigates the cause of the order differences (translational or recensional) and explores the interpretive effects of the different sequences.
